Who we are

CARDIG is a student-led educational society based at the University College of Medicine & Dentistry (UCMD), University of Lahore. You can reach us at info@cardig.net.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

Membership applications: your name, email address, institution, year of study, and preferred team.
Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.

Our web host may also keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and browser type) for security and reliability, as is typical for any website.

How we use your information

To process and respond to your membership application.
To send you our newsletter and updates about CARDIG activities, if you sign up.
To organise events and communicate with members.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

To run this site we rely on a few third-party services, which process data on our behalf:

Form delivery — form submissions are transmitted via Web3Forms to reach our inbox.
Records — submissions may be stored in Google Sheets / Google Workspace.
Hosting — the website is hosted by our hosting provider.
Fonts — typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when loading them.

Links to our Instagram and LinkedIn pages take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Data retention

We keep membership and newsletter information only for as long as needed to run the society, and remove it on request.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you have submitted, or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, by emailing info@cardig.net.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
